Intimate Glacier Montana Elopement | Claire + Mitch

April 2, 2020

Claire & Mitch came to Montana to Glacier National Park for their intimate elopement. From Chattanooga, Tennessee, neither of them had ever visited the park before. But their wedding venue had them in awe of all of Montana’s natural beauty. With just the two of them, the officiant, and some help from Field Wedding Studio in Missoula, this elopement was beyond beautiful. It displayed everything an intimate Glacier Elopement should be. They chose to get married in Ryan Meadow on the shore of Lake McDonald in Apgar village. From there, we traveled throughout the park, stopping and enjoying some of the trails and beaches along Lake McDonald, including the stunning Lake McDonald Lodge. This intimate Glacier Montana elopement ended in Whitefish, Montana at a modern A-Frame cabin a few miles outside of town along Whitefish Lake. With a dinner set by Field Wedding Studio, the couple enjoyed an intimate evening capped off by some sweet treats by Posh Chocolate in Missoula. They spent a few additional days exploring the park before heading back home to Chattanooga where they get to begin their newly married life together. Congratulations Claire & Mitch!

January 17, 2020

Des Moines Wedding Photographers Cluney Photo recently traveled to Venice Beach to photograph this engagement session for Kari + Dersu. These two are incredibly creative (Kari owns The Butcher’s Daughter and Dersu is Sr. Design Director and Creative at Vice), so it was an honor to get to photograph them in Venice, where they live.

Hilary + Anthony | Nashville Wedding Photographers

November 20, 2019

As Des Moines & Nashville Wedding Photographers, it is always an honor to get to capture weddings for other creatives. Hilary is an amazing photographer (check her work here!), so when she and Anthony asked me to photograph their wedding at groom’s childhood home in Lebanon, Tennessee, I was honored! With only 30 guests, the day was intimate and beautiful. The details were thought out and meaningful and the fall weather was ideal. And these two could not have been more in love. Surrounded by their families and an amazing group of friends, this intimate wedding was perfect in every respect. It was my final wedding of 2019, and one of my favorites as a Nashville Wedding Photographer.

Nashville Editorial Photos | Band Photography

October 29, 2019

As a Des Moines Wedding Photographer, I have a long off season. During my downtime, I often work as a Editorial and Tour Documentary photographer in Nashville (and Los Angeles) with some of my friends who play music. Photographing bands is an awesome way to improve as an artist during the slow season for weddings. These are a few of my favorites from my recent trip to Nashville to work with Okey Dokey, Leah Blevins, Brandy Zdan, and Satsang.

Shayla + Luke + Reign + Mars | Des Moines Family Photographer

September 17, 2019

This Des Moines Family Photography session was a ton of fun! This family has a passion for gardening and has a beautiful garden in their backyard in Ankeny, so they chose to have their family photos taken there. Picking a spot that is important and meaningful to the family always makes for the best photos in my opinion! Head over to the portfolio to see more!

Iowa City Photographers Cluney Photo recently traveled to Montana to photograph this Montana Destination Wedding.  Kate & Mark got married at a family property in Helena, Montana.  Their beautiful day reflected them completely. Even when a torrential downpour flooded their reception tent immediately following the ceremony, they took every moment in stride.  At the end of the day, they were repaid with a double rainbow.  This wedding deserved it!  The day was a beautiful reflection of these two from getting ready to the party at the end of the evening. Congratulations to the wonderful Montana couple!
