Des Moines Wedding Photographers Cluney Photo recently traveled to Venice Beach to photograph this engagement session for Kari + Dersu. These two are incredibly creative (Kari owns The Butcher’s Daughter and Dersu is Sr. Design Director and Creative at Vice), so it was an honor to get to photograph them in Venice, where they live.

Photographing Des Moines Couples + Families, my work takes me all over the nation. This year I had the opportunity to photograph some incredible people. From Montana to Iowa, to Nashville and beyond, it was one of my favorite years. And I had the honor of having some of my weddings published by Martha Stewart Weddings, Rocky Mountain Bride, and more. These couples + families, many of who are future or past wedding clients, are some of my favorite sessions to date. Getting to photograph Des Moines Couples + Families in their natural surroundings is why I do this.

As a Des Moines Wedding Photographer, I love it when photography allows me to travel. This engagement session was in downtown Nashville. Tiana & Sam are incredible people and their love is as beautiful as they are. I met these two photographing Sam’s band. Getting to photograph this couple’s engagement session in one of my favorite cities was such a beautiful experience!
